Marie Keesee

Marie has a passion for the game of chess and has been teaching children in 1st through 5th grade in an after-school enrichment program for three years.  She homeschooled all four of her children who are now grown.

Marie is excited to share her love of chess with business men and women and to help each person discover how chess uniquely applies to the business world and to life.

Benjamin Keesee

Ben loves to play and teach chess!  He has been a Chess teacher at an after-school chess program for 2 years.  He is an aspiring actor and may or may not do some of his lessons as a random character.

David Sewell

David has been rated as a candidate master by The United States Chess Federation, winner of numerous tournaments, notably undefeated in Southwest Class Championship-A section 1994.  He was ​a former president of The Dallas Chess Club, founder of The UTD Chess Club, and president of The Richland College Chess Club.

He is credited in more than 75 chess books as an editor, proofreader, computer file creation, diagrams, etc, and was an editor of “The Game of Chess” by Dr. Siegbert Tarrasch (The modern algebraic edition).

David’s teaching experience includes Chess teacher for USAChess for 5 years, Enrichment Chess for many years, and Private Coach for Chess Students of all ages.  He also coached at The 2014 National Chess Championship K-6.
